About this ebook

"It's time to fall in love with Suzanne Enoch." —Lisa Kleypas

The Price of Passion...
On a mission to rescue his runaway sister from the lure of flowery compliments and a useless lot of satin-clad scalawags disguised by their snooty titles, Ranulf MacLawry, Marquis of Glengask, has roared into British society like a storm across the Scottish Highlands. But he's about to find out that satin has its appeal, especially when it covers the curves of Miss Lady Charlotte Hanover—whose tongue is as sharp as her skin is soft...
...is Pure Pleasure
Lady Charlotte Hanover has had her fill of hot-headed men, having lost her fiancé in an utterly unnecessary duel. When did brawn ever triumph over brains? And yet there is something solid and appealing about the brash Highlander who's as dangerous in the ballroom as in battle. Sometimes bigger really is better... in The Devil Wears Kilts.

"Always an eagerly anticipated pleasure." —Christina Dodd

The Devil Wears Kilts is book one in A Scandalous Highlanders Series by Suzanne Enoch. I adore Enoch’s writing. She is a master at weaving humor and steamy romance together. I found myself laughing out loud at the bantering MacLawry men and then tearing up with their gentle administrations towards their sister Rowena. The heroine Lady Charlotte Hanover is a twenty-five-year-old spinster who is grieving the loss of her fiance. When Rowena MacLawry shows up unexpectedly on her doorstep, Charlotte is dismayed to find Rowena’s giant Laird of a brother in hot pursuit. He threatens to drag his sister back to Scotland until Charlotte intervenes. I enjoyed the back and forth bickering between Laird Ranulf and Charlotte. There are a number of steamy sex scenes in this book. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. I checked this book out from my library.

About the author

Suzanne Enoch grew up in Southern California, where she still balances her love for the Regency romances of Georgette Heyer and classic romantic comedies with her obsession for anything Star Wars. Given her love of food and comfy chairs, she may in fact be a Hobbit. She has written more than 35 romance novels, including traditional Regencies, Historical Romance, and contemporary Romantic Suspense. When she isn't working on her next book she is trying to learn to cook, and wishes she had an English accent. She is the bestselling author of The Scandalous Brides series, The Scandalous Highlanders series, and One Hot Scot.
