A Bargain With A Beast is a fantastic historical romance by Tammy Andresen. Ms. Andresen has crafted a well-written book populated with an outstanding cast of characters. Lord Griswold Smith doesn't know what to do with a baby, or if it's his. Violet accepts the nanny position and calm and quiet return, much to Gris and his brother's delight. Gris and Violet's story is loaded with drama, humor, heat and a dash of action and suspense. I enjoyed this book from cover to cover.

This series is unusual when it comes to Regency novels, in that although the Smith brothers have been made legitimate by their lordly brother and received titles, they are still rough diamonds who are more comfortable in the underbelly of London than the ballrooms. Even so, they give new meaning to the definition of worthy gentlemen, as they solve problems and come to the rescue of those who unable to do so for themselves.

She grew up on the Seacoast of Maine, where she spent countless days dreaming up stories in blueberry fields and among the scrub pines that line the coast.
