The series is set around the Exclusive BDSM Club, Poison. With the Doms being Law Enforcement, Military, and Agents. And subs having a habit of getting themselves in deep trouble, there is never a dull moment. Oh, and just like my other books, there is, Kinky, Hot…Well, you know.

After Amy’s marriage ended in disaster and pain she tried to move on with her life. And she thought she had. Her life was peaceful and she had a career she loved. Then, her life was sent into a tailspin. One man was breaking her heart. And the other was trying to kill her.

Master Cody was a Dom in the highly exclusive BDSM Club, Poison. His playdate with Amy wasn’t supposed to be anything more than play. But, his heart had not gotten the memo. Now, he had two problems; Amy, and the man trying to kill her.

Although it is standalone, it is Book One of the Poison Series. Each book within that series is standalone, with no cliffhangers and can be read in any order. But, it is recommended that you read from ‘One’ onwards as characters in earlier books are mentioned in later books and knowing their backstories will add to your reading experience and enjoyment. All books are quick love and HEA.

Ratings and reviews

This wasn't a bad book. I feel like the story was too fast paced without enough depth, detail or background of the characters. It just felt overall rushed to me. I think that there could've been a slower build up between the main characters and the story line.

I'm not really into the dom/sub thing as culturally I've had to deal with the subservient thing. I understand that the spirit of it is NOT the same. Still...I liked getting to know the characters though.

This is a good story. Quirky characters and a good story line. It moves along at a nice pace and has a few surprises. The ending was a surprise and I love that it is a stand alone. Cliff hangers annoy me to no end. I would be comfortable recommending this as good read.

So, a little about me. I ‘am a sub and live the lifestyle when I can. When I am not writing books, driving Doms crazy, or watching Hockey games, I work in the security industry. I operate in places like Iraq and Afghanistan.

I love all animals. But, dogs and horses are at the top of my list. I ‘am the worst joke teller known to mankind. My blood type is “coffee”, my favorite color is blue, and I once choked on a marshmallow, but I still eat them because I’m a risk taker like that.

I currently write two types of genres. BDSM Themed and Dark Themed Erotic books. I encourage you to read ‘A Word from your Author’ at the front of my books. There is a vast difference between BDSM and Dark books. And it is important to me that people do not confuse the two.

I also write two different lengths of books. Novellas and Novels. I note the word count and type of book it is on each book specific page, so that you know what type you are purchasing. I always write multiple POV’s and chapters indicate a change in POV. Thus, my chapter lengths vary depending on what the character is doing. My books also tend to happen over a compressed timeline. Things happen quickly in my characters world. And I like to inject a bit of humor. Laughter good for the soul
