Have been in love with V. C. Andrews books since I snuck a peek at one at 13 yrs old. I'm 50 now and they still captivate me . Although I admire the ghost writer, it would have been amazing to see what Andrews had written if she hadn't passed away.

Love V. C Andrews. This series pulls you into the darkness of horrible child abuse and sins that happen even when you feel its against your own will. It exposes the darkest parts of motherhood, marriage, and love and fills your heart with the pain that comes along with them. Then it takes away your breath with the beauty and purity of truly loving another person, whether husband or child, regardless of fault. V.C. Andrews amazingly demonstrates the duality of mankind is all our flawed, wonderful, and loving ways.

Thank you Janine, for introducing me to these books some 16 yrs ago. The only books that have ever really captivated me to read till the very end. These books have everything you would want in it.
