About this ebook

From #1 New York Times Bestseller Vi Keeland, comes a new, sexy standalone novel.

My relationship with Hunter Delucia started backwards.

We met at a wedding—him sitting on the groom’s side, me sitting on the bride’s. Stealing glances at each other throughout the night, there was no denying an intense, mutual attraction.

I caught the bouquet; he caught the garter. Hunter held me tightly while we danced and suggested we explore the chemistry sparking between us. His blunt, dirty mouth should’ve turned me off. But for some crazy reason, it had the opposite effect on me.

We ended up back in my hotel room. The next morning, I headed home to New York leaving him behind in California with the wrong number.

I thought about him often, but after my last relationship, I’d sworn off of charming, cocky, gorgeous-as-sin men. A year later, Hunter and I met again at the birth of our friends’ baby. Our attraction hadn't dulled one bit. After a whirlwind trip, he demanded a real phone number this time. So I left him with my mother’s—she could scare away any man with her talks of babies and marriage—and flew back home.

I’d thought it was funny, until the following week when he rang the bell at Mom’s house for Sunday night dinner. The crazy, gorgeous man had won over my mother and taken an eight-week assignment in my city. He proposed we spend that time screwing each other out of our systems.

Eight weeks of mind-blowing sex with no strings attached? What did I have to lose?

Nothing, I thought.
It’s just sex, not love.
But you know what they say about the best laid plans…

Sex, Not Love by Vi Keeland is another fabulous, amazing, heart-wrenching, loving tale from one of my favorite authors. A standalone romance told in dual POV between the hot, dirty-talking, persistent Hunter Delucia and the beautiful, feisty, independent Natalia Rossi. Hunter has issues. Deep, dark, emotional issues. His character has depth, heat and passion. He aims all that charisma directly in Natalia's direction at the wedding of their mutual best friends. While the chemistry is there, so much so, they practically sizzle, she keeps him at a distance. Well, except for the few times they kiss and she starts to melt. He is determined to win her though, so much so when she gives him her phone number and it turns out to be her moms number, he ingratiates himself with the matriarch of the Rossi family and winds up at Sunday dinner. Natalia has been burned. Badly! Her ex-husband is in federal prison for a Ponzi scheme and she has full custody of her 15 year old stepdaughter. Leaving New York for California for her best friends wedding was a nice break from reality. Being passionately kissed by the best man? Mind blowing and a little bit frightening. The level of chemistry between them is something she is NOT looking for and backs away from, rapidly. The two of these characters together, just wow! Hunter is persistent in his pursuit of Nat but also in his need for it to just be about sex. Not love. But the best laid plans often go awry. They both fall for each other but still something is keeping them apart. Gah! Vi's books are ALWAYS romantic and HOT and amazing, and the underlying seriously emotional impacts that life can have on people and their relationships is something she doesn't shy away from and writes with such grace. I loved this! Enjoy!

The heart knows what the heart desires. No amount of fake numbers and miles between two souls will deter love from embedding in one’s heart. In Vi Keeland’s newest standalone, I couldn’t get enough of Sex, Not Love. We are blessed with this #1 NY Times bestseller author’s talented words and a story that will have you escaping reality for hours. At a glance across the aisle at their friends wedding, an intense attraction pulls Natalia Rossi and Hunter Deluca together. Nat can spot a cocky, arrogant man and Hunter is a prime example of a sexy bad boy, but weddings are for hooking up and moving on, no strings… right? “A guy like him was the last thing I needed.” Hunter however, seemingly wants more and after countless times at playing hardball, he's in town for work and has her back against the door. He’s only asking for Sex, Not Love; what’s the harm? Hunter is one fine specimen! He was insanely hot and the way he pursued her was very attractive and possessive in a way. But when he opened his mouth to spout sinful words to Nat, I think the pages steamed and fanning myself wasn’t enough. “Okay… and we’d spend time together outside of the bedroom, too?” “Of course. I’ll always make sure you eat before I eat you.” Vi Keeland’s writing is flawless, providing a beautiful story laid out before you and two characters who are so right for each other, becoming more than just friends, makes this a great weekend read. She always keeps me coming back for more. I can’t wait to see what is next from Vi. 5 Stars

This is a beautiful book!! I've loved all the books Vi have written but this is one of my favorites along with the naked truth, egomaniac, and stuck up suit. this book had me laughing out loud and grinning since chapter 1. I loved the story between the characters Hunter and Natalia. I loved Hunter from the start with his cocky charming personality. There's nothing like a confident sexy man. I understood why Natalia kept running from him in the beginning. being a 28 year old divorcee who got burned by her husband she didn't want to risk getting hurt again. however hunter's unwillingness to give up made them have a happy ending and we all love happy endings. the chemistry between these two are worth reading about and is very entertaining. I strongly recommend reading this book. I'm sure I'll read it again soon 😊
