This is the first book of a trilogy and from the very beginning you will be drawn in. Agent Pendergast and his lovely wife are in Africa and are asked to help with a rogue lion. Whilst hunting said lion, Helen is taken and therein starts the story. With her death, 12 years later, A.Pendergast finds out it wasnt an accident after all and starts digging into her past only to find all isnt as it seems.
