Ratings and reviews

I understand the need for Cayan and Shanti to know each other deeply without any barrier but the sexual tension is dragging along. I am looking forward to the honor guards pivotal role as well as the girl's prowess in potion.

There is never a dull moment in this wonderful book. Plenty of adventure and excitement. Shanti had left Cayan and his cite to do what she thinks is required of her. She hears of another one being called the Chosen and begins to doubt herself even more than she did before. She comes upon a surprise in finding someone she thought lost forever and a new someone to help guide in her quest. But it does lead her back to Cayan and this is where some of the newest excitement comes into play. Well written and very entertaining to read. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

What a great story! I love the characters, and the real grit and determination Shanti has shown...can't wait for the next book!!!
