I loved this book! Kinda long, but a great story about the women of WWII. Kristin Hannah's writing is superb! This heartbreaking story will give you a glimpse of what life was like for people during WWII in France and show you just how strong women are! I found the ending very satisfying.

I can't praise this book enough. A look at what women do to survive during times of war. While the book is fiction it has some basis in truth. Isabelle was inspired by real life hero Andrée De Jongh. This book will stay with me for awhile.
