This is the first book in the Belmont Mansion Series. All three Belmont Mansion novels are complete stories and are therefore stand alone books. I read them out of order because I was anxious to read A Note Yet Unsung. This just made me want to go back and read parts of the other two a second time. Just to get my dates and characters straight in my mind. This was not a problem because I enjoyed all three so much. Tamera has such a way of developing her characters. You just want to know them or have them as a best friend. I was so interested in finding out what more I could about the real Belmont Mansion in Nashville, Tennessee, I did some research as soon as I put Tamera's book down. She takes real people or facts from history and weaves a wonderful interesting story. I love the way the author brings hope out of the darkness. She has such a wonderful way of using her words. I loved everything about this complete Belmont Mansion Series. I would highly recommend reading it

If I could give this book more stars I would. A story of love and redemption. I am anxious to read more.
