About this ebook

Face her ten-year reunion as a lowly traffic manager? No way. Izzy Gordon is going to realize her dream of becoming a filmmaker. Her documentary about an old Wisconsin lodge and its gangster history is sure to be a winner. And she's got an ace up her sleeve, since her family owns the land.

Too bad this film drops her into a brewing feud. Seems her family wants to sell the property and the lodge owners are fighting to stay open. They've drafted Gib Murphy—globe-trotting photojournalist and prodigal grandson—to stack their hand. Wow. Could this get worse? Apparently it could, because she's developing a thing for Gib…one he's returning. So at what point does her bluff get called and she has to confess her real identity?

About the author

Pamela spent many years writing for advertising agencies and corporations before setting off on her own as a freelance writer shortly before her first child was born. It might have been the combination of changing diapers, working from the house and writing video scripts about motors and drives — or it might have been because she's a hopeless romantic — but whatever the reason, one afternoon when the baby was asleep, she started writing a novel. That first book, while it holds a special place in her heart, is buried deep in her attic never to see the light of day. Pamela has learned a lot about writing books since then and is happy to report she no longer has to write about motors and drives. Pamela lives in Wisconsin with her three children and a very active poodle-mix dog. Visit her at her web site: www.pamelaford.net or write her at: P.O. Box 327, Grafton, WI 53024.
