Mr. Unforgettable

Karina Bliss

Luke Carter can never forget that he had been abandoned as a child. And that's why the millionaire and former Olympian is driven to build his camp for underprivileged kids in Beacon Bay. If only the rural New Zealand community trusted his motives. And if only the beautiful widow mayor, Liz Light, would stop grieving long enough to prove where her loyalties lie – with Luke or her late husband – and show him once and for all which man is truly unforgettable.

About the author

Karina Bliss figured she was meant to be a writer when at age twelve she began writing character sketches of her classmates. But a scary birthday milestone had to pass before she understood that achieving a childhood dream required more commitment than 'when I grow up I'm going to be.' It took this New Zealand journalist five years of 'seriously writing' to get a book contract, a process which she says helped put childbirth into perspective. En route, she became the first Australasian to win a Golden Heart from the Romance Writers of America. She has also won New Zealand's Clendon Award. In life, Karina generally tries to follow the rules. As the eldest of five girls she was once (and her sisters will say, very briefly), in the heady position of setting the rules. But as a romance writer, Karina likes to push the envelope. For example, heroes in romance are not usually big criers - MR IMPERFECT opens with the hero, Christian Kelly, crying at a funeral. Karina lives with her partner and their son north of Auckland. Visit Karina on the Web at www.karinabliss.com or drop her an email at karina@karinabliss.com
