WOW! "Against the Sky" is a sizzling thrill ride where the chemistry between detective, Nick Brodie and Samantha Hollis, owner of a Pet Grooming spa, particularly flies off the pages. Add in the danger, throw into the mix a bit of suspense, the Russian Mob, mayhem, and romance, viola, you have a combustible story of epic portions. Well written, where struggles and danger may keep Nick and Samantha from their HEA. The characters are strong, with an alpha male protector and a strong, feisty female. Together, these two heat up the pages, not only in sensual scenes, but in their interaction with each other and those around them. A must read Romantic Suspense with a few twists and turns. Entertaining and fastinicating! I look forward to the next installment. These Brodie men are very protective of their woman, as well as the strong masculine type.
