I have read every one of Patricia Corn wells books and am never disappointed. As usual she has caused a stir. Great storyline and characters. It is hard to decide between her and Kathy Reich as I absolutely adore both of them. I have also read all of Kathy Reich's books and challenge anyone to read all of these two authors books and not enjoy them. Once you have tried these books you will never look back. I don't like to spoil anyone's fun by telling them the books storylines so just give them a go. Thanx

Unfortunately, Patricia Cornwell has lost her zing. The book lacks her earlier skill of keeping you guessing. I felt quite untethered about whodunnit

Enjoyable like always but this copy is missing several pages at the end of chapter 7.

About the author

In 1990, Patricia Cornwell sold her first novel, Postmortem, while working at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Richmond, Virginia. An auspicious debut, it went on to win the Edgar, Creasey, Anthony, and Macavity Awards, as well as the French Prix du Roman d'Aventures - the first book ever to claim all these distinctions in a single year. Growing into an international phenomenon, the Scarpetta series won Cornwell the Sherlock Award for best detective created by an American author, the Gold Dagger Award, the RBA Thriller Award, and the Medal of Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters for her contributions to literary and artistic development. Today, Cornwell's novels and iconic characters are known around the world.
