This book is very interesting and entertaining to read. You meet Olaf for the first time and you know that it won't be the last. Olaf is an interesting character that hits all the wrong buttons for Anita Blake. One of her best adventures.

This book has a little more gore in it than I like but it still pulls me through it like a fine love. I have always been able to get immersed in this book and I love every minute of reading it.

Great book as are all the anita blake books. Love how this book gave us a peek into the mystery man and gave us a chance to see anita in a different light as she grows more into herself (as you'll see in the later books). I have reread this book at least a dozen times.
