In this the final prequel to the blockbuster series, the story features the Rapture three-quarters of the way through the book and then follows characters such as Irene and Raymie (and others) up to heaven, where they are able to see events in the Tribulation from heaven’s perspective. The story alternates between events on earth immediately after the Rapture (covering lots of things the authors wished they could have covered in the original volumes) and characters in heaven and how they view the chaotic events on earth.

Beautiful telling of the experience of being raptured. Hearing the stories of christian giants of the past brought tears to my eyes. And Irene's thoughts about not doing enough with her time on earth and Jesus giving her her well done was very emotional. Excellent book

Is an interesting book to read of Vol.#15 book written by Dr. Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins from start to finish. You will enjoy it.

This book concludes the prequels and shows what happens to those who have been Raptured, while also showing the moments following the Rapture.

About the author

Jerry B. Jenkins was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 23, 1949. He is the author of more than 175 books including the Left Behind series, Riven, Matthew's Story, The Last Operative, and The Brotherhood. He is also the former editor of Moody Magazine, and his writing has appeared in Reader's Digest, Parade, Guideposts, and dozens of Christian periodicals. He wrote the nationally syndicated sports story comic strip, Gil Thorp, from 1996-2004. He owns Jenkins Entertainment, a filmmaking company in Los Angeles, which produced the critically-acclaimed movie Hometown Legend, based on his book of the same name. He also owns the Christian Writers Guild, which trains professional Christian writers. As a marriage and family author and speaker, he has been a frequent guest on Dr. James Dobson's Focus on the Family radio program.
