Another great story by Burke , who just paints you into the scenery. His characters & their dialogue bring you into that scene. Quickly becoming my favorite author.

A fun, quick read with vivid imagery of Montana. I love this series and wish Burke would write more of them rather than primarily focus on the Louisiana backdrop.

James Lee Burke is a New York Times bestselling author, two-time winner of the Edgar Award, and the recipient of the Guggenheim Fellowship for Creative Arts in Fiction. He has authored forty novels and two short story collections. He lives in Missoula, Montana.
