Ratings and reviews

So, after the first few chapters, I was ready to call this particular book a rare miss in the series. Instead, I read many of the reviews, to see if I was alone in my reservations. Finding I wasn't, I did take the advice of a couple of reviewers who recommended continuing to read the book, as it became better in further chapters. While still not my favorite in the series, it turned out to be much better than I expected. I loved Lothaire, as well as his interactions with my favorite soothsayer, Nix.

Lothaire is one of my favs. Always really has been. The fact that it turns out he's been blooded this entire time makes him even more attractive. A goddess stuck inside a human's body. PERFECTION!! :P Lothaire is a hero though he'd never admit it and Elizabeth Peirce is a godsend and just as Perfect for him.

Well I'm glad lothaires bride wasn't nix that wld have disappointed me but I couldn't have been happier that his bride is just a mere mortal that's just what the big bad (down right finger licking good) vamp deserves since he hates them so much but omfg when is nix's book coming out? I swear I'm addictive to kresely cole's books they are my crack and I need a new fix lmfao:-P I can't wait for your new book Ms. Cole love your books <3 :-)
