I loved this book. It's one of the first to make me emotional, during the last chapter because of the interaction between Mercy and Adam. I was disappointed with the finale battle for the book, I felt almost cheated that I didn't get to see the fight take place... The book felt very short, but perhaps that's just me. All in all, I loved this book. Like all of Mercy's stories, this was another worth adding to the book shelf. Excellent

For some reason, I stalled halfway through this book. I have fond memories of Mercy and the other cast of characters so I don't know what happened. I am re-reading the beginning. Sept. 2022

It was good. I love this series; however, this one was a little slow and not nearly as dynamic as her other books. I would still like more, this one just felt like she was trying to clear her deadline.
