It's a good story. It really is. But it feels a little like filler for the characters. Spade and Denise are married in the latter Night Huntress books and this one just tells you how it happened.

This should be considered part of the regular series! DO NOT SKIP IT! I love Spade/Charles because of how he worked hard to keep Cat and Bones together during their big fight in the previous book. It is so fitting that he was able to have his own story! The first time I read this, I didn't notice all of the little hints that are dropped all through the book. So much cat&bones foreshadowing going on here! This is definitely a series that is enjoyable no matter how many times you read it.

I cant stop really all of Jeaniene Forst Book! She's amazing story teller :) This book keeps me late up at night, I cant seem to put the books down. I cant wait for the next and next one to come out
