I really enjoyed this book. I liked the style of storytelling, the characters. Wasnt much of a fan of the faith talks. I felt Mornay was suddenly out of character with how he reacted to Ariana's condition for the marriage. I expected more struggle and realizations esp considering what happened to his family and how long he had harbored his ill feelings.

This story set in Regency times is a great Christian story. I enjoyed it very much and in fact it made me realize that with all that has happened in the past two years in my life, just how much I myself have allowed the world to intrude on my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I would never have come to this, if I hadn't read this story! Praise God for His never giving up on us!

Raised in New York, she graduated magna cum laude from the City University of New York with a BA in English literature.
