In the beginning I thought I was not going to like it, but I was completely wrong. You see the intricacies and plots in the English court at that time. Ambition, greed, manipulation, cruelty, love and loyalty. Mary Boleyn is our guide through her own life experiences and you see her personal evolution and the progress of her family and their decay. I enjoyed the whole story. I truly recommend it.

Could not put the book down. A story of sisterly rivalry of Anne and her sister Mary at the highest court in Europe and the love of Henry V111. First Mary was Henry's lover and mother of two of his children and of Anne who became his wife and queen One of the best books I have read for a long time. Loved it

Gripping from start to finish. You feel like you are living at court itself, but cleverly written in modern day accessible language to make it oh so relevant. On to the next one !
