Carey Baldwin was a new author to me when I picked up this book, but I have to say: she's on the keeper shelf and I'll be looking for more from her. I won't give anything away, but this is an extremely well-written story that flies. I loved the romantic undertones and creepy vibes throughout. If you love fast-paced, thoughtful, surprising thrillers, this one's definitely for you.

Dr Baldwin will undoubtedly do much better with her next novel. I really wonder if I've read this before & forgotten it as an explanation for the facile plot.

What an amazing mystery. Full of twists and turns that you can't imagine. This is a book that is hard to set down. Another great purchase from BookBub. Well worth buying.
