The ending was unexpected as with Carisi's first book. however, the beginning was too confusing because the story keep going back and forth and I found it hard to keep my interest. I'm glad the end was not disappointing
About the author
Donato Carrisi was born in 1973 and studied law and criminology. He won four Italian literature prizes for his bestselling debut The Whisperer. Since 1999 he has been working as a TV screenwriter, and he lives in Rome.
