About this ebook

Set in the haunting and barren landscape of a new ice age, AFTER THE SNOW is the story of fifteen-year-old Willo, a 'straggler' kid who loses his family in the opening pages. Completely alone, he is immediately flung into an icy journey of survival, adventure, friendship and self-discovery - with only the dog spirit inside his head to guide him. Meanwhile, across Britain, outlawed followers of survivalist John Blovyn are planning an escape to the fabled Islands talked of in a revolutionary book . . .

Raw, compelling and unforgettable - this powerfully voiced novel is a YA classic in the making.

this is a good read for young adults and every one. the setting reminded me of The Road, this book has got a great setting and a good pace. It is a good first novel and I will certainly be keeping an eye out for the author. I have given it 4 stars as there is no option for 3.5. There are a couple of things that we get glimpses of but they are abandoned without going anywhere. Despite that, I think it is a good concept, well written and it certainly entertained me throughout. A good book and a promising start. So go ahead and buy it, read it and tell us what you thought!
