best book I've ever read and trust me I've read lot I was always getting grounded as a kid and what best to do when your grounded than read a book or three I've read everything from diary of a whimpy kid to Shakespeare but this is still the greatest series in my mind I wish the author all the best and thank them for making my childhood/adulthood more magical I'd highly recommend sitting down and reading these books over and over as you can never lose interest.

The 1st book in The Last Dragon Chronicles and 5th book in chronological order, The Dragons Of Wayward Crescent. As someone who has read most of the books and is only recently going back to try and re-read and then finish the series it's interesting to see what I remember and what I didn't. Namely a lot of the things that happen around the squirrels of Scrubbly. I think that this book is a fantastic read, especially for those who are younger and trying to find a good book for a book report or club! While the dragons themselves are subdued up until the end, the use of them in this book is to fan a flame of interest and intrigue, while acting as a catalyst for the reader to understand the humans and animals of the story. In this way we have a chance to connect with the main cast, and form strong bonds to David, Lucy, and Liz! All in all, I recommend starting with the The Dragons of Wayward Crescent and then reading The Fire Within, so that you understand things a little better!

I thouht that this book is a great book.this book has a great story line and I reccomend that anyone who reads this review should give this book a go. Its a marvellous book to be stuck into. It is all about dragons and animals and how they live their life. Its a great book. Try reading the other book that chris d' lacey has written i think it all worth it. HOPE YOU LIKE IT
