Holy cows everywhere...this novel was a helluva ride!! So much was offered in this novel compared to Dark Gold which was just a "wam bam and done" disappointment. I gladly gave up 10 dollars to finish this after I got pass the whole sample. The plotline with "stubborn female meets equally and infuriating stubborn Carpathian make" that kept cycling through, which I am going to safely guess all of Ms. Christine's Carpathian series are alike in that respect. As I said before, compared to Dark Gold, this went from zero to 100 in under 30 pages. But this is taken from a novel jump for me, and in this case, that's a good thing. [On an unrelated notw, Microsoft decided to tickle my fancy by giving me a Carpathian Mountain range slideshow for my desktop today so guess what I went to research??] I am off to now read the following book, but before I go, I do have a question concerning Nicolas. His name doesn't come up on the family tree, so does he have a Lifemate somewhere??? Hopefully??

I LOVE Christine Feehan but I HATED this book!!!! I REFUSE to even say the so-called hero's name. After I was done reading this book I put this WAAAAAAY in the back of the book shelf to collect dust. I won't be reading this book any time soon

Ms. Feehan is a phenomenal writer. Her storylines are action packed and so interesting that you will feel the characters emotions laughing and crying right along with them. She is one of the few writers that I can read their books more than once.
