There were many new elements. I felt so much for the characters that I too wanted to kick some ass. Some parts do seem to get a little bit repetitive but if you read slowly and carefully, you will be able to appreciate them better. A trait that didn't sit well with me was the reactions of Bea and Pyper when Jade told them everything that had happened. Their reactions seemed out of character.

This was another exciting Jade Calhoun book. I loved seeing Jade and Kane starting off as a team in this book. They work well together, and definitely make each other stronger. In true Jade Calhoun fashion, nothing in this story is plain or simple. The obstacles and drama that I have loved in all the other books, continue in this one. However, this one has some new characters and supernatural beings, and it was awesome! It was very cool to see the worlds of all the different types of supes collide and how they affect each other. Very creative! Jade has gotten very powerful as the series has progressed, but this book really shows how some of the others have evolved as well. They are very improtant to Jade and her success. The story is non-stop excitement, and I can't wait to read the next book! I have a feeling this one laid down one heck of a groundwork for the next one. I love this series!

Jade and Kane certainly through a few curves in this story that I never saw coming. What a wonderful book and like all the rest I am dying to see what happens in the next one. I have to run again and will let you know if the wonderful streak continues. Until next time....zoom....gone.
