I loved the new supernatural twist with the SEAL superheroes and a stronger female lead than usual. Mac, Diaz and Dr. Bach are greater-thans, people with higher neural integration than the average human allowing them to use their high functioning brains to help the police and further science with their special abilities. But they don't have the training of a SEAL though they don't realize how much they could use Shane's abilities in the beginning. What they learn through their new relationships with Shane, a fellow doctor, Elliot and the women they are helping, Anna and Nika, is that love and relationships are as important to their success as the abilities they strive to grow.
