About this ebook

When Will and Bet were four, tragic circumstances brought them to the same house, to be raised by a wealthy gentleman as brother and sister. Now sixteen, they’ve both enjoyed a privileged upbringing thus far. But not all is well in their household. Because she’s a girl, Bet’s world is contained within the walls of their grand home, her education limited to the rudiments of reading, writing, arithmetic, and sewing. Will’s world is much larger. He is allowed—forced, in his case—to go to school. Neither is happy.

So Bet comes up with a plan and persuades Will to give it a try: They’ll switch places. She’ll go to school as Will. Will can live as he chooses. But once Bet gets to school, she soon realizes living as a boy is going to be much more difficult than she imagined.

I found out about this book before its release date in the U.S. because of an online blogger, and I really wanted to read it. As soon as it was released (in the U.S.) I searched for it in Aussie bookstores (I'm Aussie) but found it nowhere, and ended up finding out it wasn't going to be released here for a while. So I ordered it from Amazon. I read it a couple of weeks ago, straight when it arrived, and I loved it! I love stories with girls cross dressing and falling in love (don't know why). Now I just decide for some strange reason to look it up here, and I find that, wait a second, you can read it on here. Arrrrrgh!!! Wish I'd known :( I guess it's good to have a hard copy, though....though I'm not sure if you can read the whole thing on here. Anyways, I recommend for anyone who loves romance to read this. So adorable!
