About this ebook

“A sassy new voice.”—Roxanne St. Claire, New York Times bestselling author

“Engaging and down-to-earth...features characters readers can root for.” --Library Journal

In this sexy series, author Gail Chianese celebrates the heart—and the heat—of modern dating. This time, a temporary boyfriend may be the right man for a permanent position...

The only girl in a family of three brothers, Tawny Torres has had enough of waiting on men. She has her life and her career all mapped out, and neither includes an apron, an iron, or a husband—yet. But when a new job emphasizes a healthy balance of work and play, she needs a guy to stand in as her love interest at a company picnic. Gorgeous charmer David “King of Pleasure” Farber fits the bill perfectly—so well that Tawny is shocked to realize she’s having a hard time letting him go...

David’s a confirmed bachelor, but he can’t get enough of Tawny’s firecracker combination of tough and tender. Unfortunately, he’s overloaded with work at his construction firm and now definitely isn’t the time for distraction—he struggles enough with that already. Still, he can’t ignore his feelings for Tawny. He’ll just have to convince her that he’s more than a boyfriend-for-hire. And she’ll have to prove he can trust her with his biggest secret...

The trials and tribulations of being a single working girl in the career dominated man's world. Boyfriend for Hire is full of charm, sass and flair. Tawny is driven and intent on finding something that is all her own. I enjoy these relationship of convenience stories because the scenarios are so extremely funny that I have to always reread them. I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review. Stylish read that left me warm and fuzzy.

I really enjoyed this relationship of convenience story. It's a cute story with great characters. Tawny and David work well together and the banter and sass between them is very entertaining. Neither of them are looking for a relationship but what starts out as pretend starts to feel very, very real. This author's writing style is fantastic and keeps the story moving at a great pace. This is definitely one I recommend for everyone.

About the author

Gail Chianese's love of reading began at the tender age of three, when she'd make her grandpa read Fourteen Country Rabbits over and over and over again (and correct him when he skipped parts). While she's branched out over the years by reading mystery, women’s fiction, and urban fantasy, she always circles back to romance in the end. That's probably because she's married to her real‑life hero. Her wonderful hubby has served in the US Navy for the past twenty‑two years and he’s done things he can’t tell her about. But it doesn’t stop her from being extremely proud of him and the sacrifices he makes for her, his family, and his country. He’s also uber‑supportive of her dreams and of their three children. Living in Mystic, CT and a member of Connecticut Romance Writers of America, Gail loves to hear from readers.
