If what you're looking for is naval fleet actions in space, with everything surrounding it from politics to maneuvers, you have found it. Personally I'd have enjoyed a bit more extrapolation around the possibilities and limitations of relativistic warfare especially at long distance / high fractions of c (other than time lag, much of the battles depiction still stay fairly close to classic naval action). Hamilton depiction of technology is still a notch ahead.Despite that, a strongly recommended read nonetheless.

Perhaps a very first published novel, however greatness is evident in the style and the direction of writing. Ill be reading more.
