About this ebook

New York Times bestselling author Steve Alten's Meg: Primal Waters continues his thrilling action adventure series--the basis for the feature film The Meg, starring Jason Statham as Jonas Taylor.

Eighteen years have passed since Angel, the Megalodon shark broke free of the Tanaka Lagoon and returned to the Mariana Trench. Meanwhile, Jonas Taylor-adventurer, has become Jonas Taylor, middle-aged father of two, overwhelmed by mountains of bills and the daily strife of raising a family. But life is about to change.

A Hollywood television producer wants Jonah to join his new survival series: Daredevils. For the next six weeks, two teams of crazy daredevils on a South Pacific Ocean voyage on-board a replica of a Spanish Galleon will try to outperform one another in front of the cameras.
Jonas needs the money, and the job seems easy enough-doing color commentary. But behind the scenes, someone else is pulling the strings. And before it's over, Jonas, Terry, and Mac will again come face to face with the most dangerous creatures ever to stalk the Earth.

This, the third in the Meg series, title sees Jonas Taylor return to the sea as a commentator on an action reality TV show as he accompanies his daughter who is partaking in the series as a competitor. This release is all action and minimal story as the Meg is once again on a relentless collision course with civilization as it terrorises coastlines and the crew aboard the show's base ship of operations. Alten continues to cash in on the initial success of Meg by churning out a fast-paced, unabashed action thriller featuring less science and more Hollywood scenes than previously employed in the series. I actually enjoyed this shark book quite a bit. Parts of it were a little dumb, but overall, it was an exciting, shark-full read that was very adventure-filled. There's not much to say, as this was a straight-forward book. That being said, I will definitely keep an eye out for his other books - they are quite exciting and great for summer.

I like how how they described the Meg clearly and how the story had 3 settings and not just one monotonous setting. PLEASE ADD THE OTHER BOOKS I WANT TGE REST OF THE MEG SERIES!!
