Before I read this book I had heard of the movie. I first had become interested in Carrie and her story. I had to get the book, and when I started to read it. Meeh, it was alright, though the movie was very graphical and frightening, I didn't really see the scary ness through the book. The amount of P.O.Vs that it had really got me confused with the book, the pig splash didn't really have a lot of description to it. Though the way Carrie died really got to me, nearly made me cry a bit. 4.5/5 amazing book.

I found this a very quick read; not as long-winded as other novels by King, but it doesn't lack in any quality or value. There's a reason why they've made multiple film versions of this book.

I have seen the films and decided to read the book there was so much more detail....its easy to see why stephen king is the best.... i love the way he looked at it from different peoples opinions really made it seem as though it was real
