A great book about 4 female British convicts sent to Sidney for their sentence. Despite having very different characters, they build a very strong friendship, which will really be needed before, during and after their trip to Sidney. I absolutely loved this book, well written and full of history with the description of the life of convicts, how it worked when they arrived in Australia, ... If you are ready for 480 pages of a captivating story, don't hesitate to give it a go!

Another great historical yarn from Deborah Challinor. This one is the first of four books telling the story of convict women transported to New South Wales from England in the 1800's. The four main characters are well written & interesting individuals that make for a fascinating read. Now on to book 2, I want to see what happens next.
