Ratings and reviews

Being deaf and hard of hearing to the point which I only hear sounds with amplication I could relate to a certain character in the story as far as having to sign what you want to say. That is about the only thing though. The story has been written with care and descriptive where needed and not overdone which I have seen in other books. Never read anything by this author before but will try another one. I really enjoyed the story.

Very good read. Story that pulled me into thoughts of my youth and how simple life was...also about getting through tragedy and keeping your faith. Great writing.

Enjoyed the plot but too slow in places. Was expecting more of a mystery but I figured it out too soon and then was bored.
