Salvation is a love story that follows a difficult path of healing after sexual assault. It is a true romance, but it addresses very hard issues, including rape and attempted suicide. The novel is not, however, about captivity and violence. It is about love, healing, and hope.

Ratings and reviews

Salvation was very different from the other stories of Ms. Adams. I have thoroughly enjoyed her romance books. This book was was emotionally difficult to read because of its subject matter. I just can't imagine falling in love with someone who was at the "scene of the crime." I am certain that Ms. Adams had spoken with victims regarding this situation, as she is quite thorough in her writing.

This book is one of the best I've read all year and that's been more than 200. I cried, laughed, reading the pain that they both went through brought back memories. I can't wait to read other stories by this author.

What a wonderful book well written. I loved Diana and Gideon so much. The best book l have read so far in 2020. Perfection absolutely. Such raw emotions I experienced everything with the couple 💯 Thank you for the healing words. Helped me to deal with my own issues 🙏💞
