About this ebook

Since its original publication in Paris in 1959, Naked Lunch has become one of the most important novels of the twentieth century. Exerting its influence on the relationship of art and obscenity, it is one of the books that redefined not just literature but American culture. For the Burroughs enthusiast and the neophyte, this volume—that contains final-draft typescripts, numerous unpublished contemporaneous writings by Burroughs, his own later introductions to the book, and his essay on psychoactive drugs—is a valuable and fresh experience of a novel that has lost none of its relevance or satirical bite.

Don't know what it was but I couldn't put it down. It's one of the best yet most mind twisting books I've had the joy of reading in a long time. It takes a lot to get me to read from front to back without stopping. Check it out it will not disappoint!!!

I have owned this particular audiobook and e book the past and must I've read it multiple times as well as listened. It is trip through the mind of a mad man a drug user to the enth degree describing experience trauma and just all around humor. excellent read if you don't like your books straight forward and to the point and enjoy a little debauchery.
