About this ebook

Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school...again. And that's the least of his troubles. Lately, mythological monsters and the gods of Mount Olympus seem to be walking straight out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology textbook and into his life. Book #1 in the NYT best-selling series, with cover art from the feature film, The Lightning Thief.

Percy Jackson is an amazing book with a gripping story line. Percy, Annabeth and Grover must stop the evil forces of evil Greek history coming back to destroy America. In this series, Rick Riordan brings greek mythology to life in America{ Metaphoricaly}. I think all kids from 9-14 will enjoy this series very much.

So far, I've got to say that this is the #1 best book I've ever read. It has a brief description about his family, his evil-spirited step-father, his loving biological mother, and his friends of course. It's also really funny how there are a lot of mythical creatures throughout the book. Basically, what I'm saying is that this is the best book ever. If you have nothing to read, Lightning thief is the right choice for anyone, whether they like Greek mythology or not. 5 stars!
