Katya Felinska is a beautiful and talented photo-journalist, passionately
committed to championing the rights of the oppressed. Max Inman is a
brilliant and incisive political journalist. They have been together for almost
twenty years.

But Max is also an undercover agent, one of MI6's most important sources
on the real thinking of Russian and German leaders in the tense months
leading up to the disintegration of the Iron Curtain and the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Then things go wrong. Horribly wrong. And Katya must summon all her courage
