Well...... this book made me feel emotions I never knew I had! It was incredible and moved me to tears at the end. What a dear, dear man Cain was. In spite of his tragic past and time spent in prison he found. himself again in the arms of Maggie. I adored her character.......she was brave, feisty and loved Cain unconditionally. The intrigue surrounding them had me glued to the pages and I was so pleased when justice won in the end. I love Barbara Ankrum's stories but this one just took a piece of my heart.
