I own all the Eddings books both in hard / paper back and this is one of many that I own 4 or more copies of because the amount of times I read them every year they fall apart. I love the story, the characters, the drama, the hunt, the romance and the setting of the camp site etc. I wish it was a larger book or it had a larger epilogue. Now I have every Eddings digital.

About the author
David Eddings was born in Washington State in 1931 and grew up near Seattle. He graduated from the University of Washington and went on to serve in the US Army. Subsequently, he worked as a buyer for the Boeing Aircraft Company and taught college-level English. His career as a fantasy writer, with his wife Leigh, has been spectacular.
