But in a world of public smiles and private feuds, Deanna has attracted some dangerous enemies - including her old mentor, the brilliant but emotionally manipulative Angela Perkins.

As Deanna's star rises, she is flung together with Finn Riley, the network's most charismatic journalist. Finn is instantly attracted to Dee - but he is also Angela's ex-lover. It was a beautiful read, though boring in parts; the pace was well set and the plot was believable. Though there was little to no attention given to the prelude of their relationship, the developing part was amazing. Had already worked out the ending, though it was a bit too coincidental. All in all, it was quite nice.
