The Lucky Penny Ranch needs lots of work, so Blake Dawson hires Allie Logan and her carpentry skills to get things in order, but it’s not long before her brown eyes and dangerous curves have him roped and tied in this exciting western romance. The Lucky Penny Ranch’s reputation adds quite a bit of spice to the story making it a wonderful setting for this feisty romance. Carolyn Brown is a new discovery for me. I received an ARC of Wild Cowboy Ways from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. What stood out for me about this author is that she writes romance fiction that is entertaining but also tackles issues that are prevalent in the world. For instance, dementia is hard to witness as an outsider looking in. Just think about watching the heartbreaking changes happen to someone that you love. I know this first hand because both of my grandmothers struggled with this disease and it is painful to experience. So that aspect of the story line trigger a great deal of emotion within me. This story is about more than just a heated romance. It is about people adjusting to change and helping each other along the way. Everyone needs encouraging voice and a shoulder to lean on sometimes.

If you love hot cowboy romances, then you will enjoy Blake and Allie's story. Carolyn Brown writes amazing sexy cowboy romances. This story takes place on a ranch in a small Texas town. You can't help but for fall for Blake when he says "Darlin". "Wild Cowboy Ways" by Carolyn Brown is book one in the "Lucky Penny Ranch" series. This is Allie Logan and Blake Dawson's story. I loved this read! It was so much fun watching Blake and Allie's relationship change. Get comfortable because you are not going to want to put this book down.
