I received this first part of 3 as a freebie on Google Play & it's leaving me wanting to be frank. Whether the novel has lost something by being divided into 3 novelettes I'm not sure, but it does seem quite disjointed. The end of Chapter 6 certainly has lots of thrills & is obviously the main story of the novel. I will hold my final opinion until I have read book 2.

About the author

Paul Finch is a former cop and journalist, now turned full-time writer. He cut his literary teeth penning episodes of the British crime drama, The Bill. He is also well known for his work in the thriller and horror fields and is a two-times winner of the British Fantasy Award, and a one-time winner of the International Horror Guild Award.
