The book starts alright . But it gets incredibly stupid after the middle . Especially the part where holly gets a hunch about the notebook peter hides. That was some motherfucking hunch huh... And whats with tina freaking out about her brother stealing the money. If she were to get a hint about the money it would've been that money was found not stolen , on account of the talk they had before. Well . Whatever . Giving 2 stars . One for effort and one for story.

Good but not a patch on Mr. Mercedes. The most galling part is that the trio we're here to read about don't even turn up until a third of the way through the book and there isn't much focus on them. I also found the Jimmy Gold slogans getting a little irritating near the end. Still, I look forward to the next book. Hartsfield is a much more compelling antagonist and there's a really great set up for his return.

Seem to be stuck on Stephen King books! Can't get enough of them. This is the second time around with this trilogy and it's even better this time around ....I think!
