I have been waiting a long time for the Montgomery's and Taggerts to come back! I really enjoy most of Jude's novels. I love the old style where she jumps into a character and the story unfolds. But for this one, I didn't feel the "instant " and " magical" connection. But I gave it my attention and finally got to the "good stuff". And it turned out to be a pretty good story. I am glad no one plots against me like they did to Alix. I don't think I would get over it as acceptingly as she did!

I am a true fan. I love and enjoy listening &reading her stories of adventures , love and mysteries. . Jude Devereux's taught me though her books to travel beyond my very small world. I have read every book except two. True Love, Knight in Shining Armour. I tried to read True Love again today still couldn't get past the 3 chapter. If anyone has a better understanding of these characters post . They just don't come across for me especially Victoria(selfish &selfserving)and Alex(lost&footstool). This is so unlike other of her characters. I LOVED the sea captain and Jared, &the aunt.

Purchased book full price only to get 3 chapters. ..very angry! Jude book 5 star, very annoyed I didn't get the whole book. Wth man!
