Unlike Charles, words fail me. Found Singularity sky by accident in a book store, had to read more and this has just made Charles my all time favorite.

Smashing, gripping and worth your future time. I first read Accelerando on my HTC Hero mobile, tiny screen on long train journeys and in my short breaks... What a gripping and joyful read, I simply couldn't put it down. Fantastic read. (I thought this story was free in the public domain?)

About the author

Charles Stross is a full-time science fiction writer and resident of Edinburgh, Scotland. The author of seven Hugo-nominated novels and winner of three Hugo awards for best novella, two of which are part of the Laundry Files series, Stross's works have been translated into over twelve languages. As the owner of degrees in pharmacy and computer science, he graduated as the world's only academically qualified cyberpunk writer just as cyberpunk died.
