Sequels are so tricky, especially following a fantastic opener like Red Rising, but Golden Son exceeds expectations brilliantly! Can't believe I have to wait another year for the final book - it's going to kill me!

Amazing 2nd part of a wonderful trilogy. The first person style relentlessly adhered to makes one feel every dark & bitter sweet moment our protagonist Darrow faces. On to the 3rd novel - it's only been 2 weeks since I started the 1st!

I absolutely love this series. It is so well written and I'm usually skimming through boring parts of books to get to the interesting stuff but not at all with this one!
