About this ebook

A stunning debut novel with an intriguing literary hook: written in part as a letter from a victim to her abductor. Sensitive, sharp, captivating!Gemma, 16, is on layover at Bangkok Airport, en route with her parents to a vacation in Vietnam. She steps away for just a second, to get a cup of coffee. Ty--rugged, tan, too old, oddly familiar--pays for Gemma's drink. And drugs it. They talk. Their hands touch. And before Gemma knows what's happening, Ty takes her. Steals her away. The unknowing object of a long obsession, Gemma has been kidnapped by her stalker and brought to the desolate Australian Outback. STOLEN is her gripping story of survival, of how she has to come to terms with her living nightmare--or die trying to fight it.

BY FAR THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ IN MY LIFE. the ending was unexpected. i wish it ended on at least some sort of happy ending but the book was so real and touching. i almost cried at the end of the book thinking about Ty and Gemma. Stolen, unlike other books has no superficial characters but just the normal everyday people until the day a girl is kidnapped and taken to an island. I wish i was the author of this book, it was beautifully written and i will never forget the book as it inspired me to continue the novel i am hoping to get published. praise to stolen and lucy chrisopher.

I could never find time to read this book, and when I did, I could not put it down. This book was beautifully written. I loved how Gemma let the reader understand her feelings, although sometimes she sounded so cold towards Ty. In regards to Ty, I wanted to know more about him, how he felt. Although misunderstood, what he did was uncalled for; if he would've attempted a normal relationship with Gemma, it might've worked. Also, I feel that the book should've been longer. Overall, great story.

Every once in a while I read a book that makes me want to sit down and write a novel. This book is one of them. The narration was well paced, the descriptions were vivid, and the story well told. I just wanted to reach the end of it, to see how it unraveled. Sometimes, the end of a riveting book can be disappointing but not in this case. Lucy Christopher got it just right.
