Beautifully written with a very organic, natural style of writing. The narrative meanders just as though an old-timer was telling his life's story and someone took it down word for word and printed it. The characters are nostalgic and entertaining. Sometimes I wanted to take entire paragraphs and make them into framed artwork on my wall so I could read them over and over, every single day. I loved this book. I bought multiple copies to give away to friends - it's a book so good it must be shared.
